5. attend, take part in, join和join in
attend, take part in, join和join in都表示“参加”的意思。但是，attend 通常与meeting, lecture，school，class等搭配。Attend还有“照顾”的意思。take part in 常常指参加一个重大的活动。join表示参加一个“组织”、“团体”等, 也可以说加入某人, join sb, 而join in表示参加一项活动。如join in (doing) sth, join sb in (doing) sth.
We attend school every day. 我们每天上学。

6. This sounded like my school in China.
sound 作连系动词，表示“听起来”，后面可跟形容词、like加名词，或从句。
