1.alone; lonely
He was alone in the room.
He doesn't feel lonely when he is left alone.
2.dress; wear; put on
She is dressed very well. 如:Dress yourself quickly.
She is wearing a white dress today.
He put his coat on and went out.
3.such; so
Don't be in such a hurry.
如:Don't speak so fast.
注意:名词前有many, much, few, little等表示数量多少的词修饰时,要用so来修饰。如:They have only so much time to do their lessons.
4.seem; look
The man seemed to be ill.
如:That dog looks dangerous.
注意:seem可用于It seems that.... It seemed certain that Tom would win the prize.
