　　Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Liujiaxia middle school English Reading Competition. (中文)

　　In order to improve our spoken English, Develop our interest and motivation in learning English, provide a stage to show and enhance themselves, we have decided to host this English Speaking Competition., I hope This is a great afternoon, and this is a harvest afternoon.

　　为了提高我们的英语口语，培养学习英语的兴趣和积极性，给学生提供一个展现自我，提升自我的机会和舞台我校决定举办这次英语演讲比赛。我希望这是个快乐的下午，也是一个收获的下午。

　　In today's competition, there are 14 students; they are all the excellent students in each class. So, we sure that today will be a very wonderful competition.

　　This year there are altogether (数量) contestants to participate in the competition,

　　Before we start our contest, let me introduce the rules of this competition. Each of the contestants will have 3-5 minutes to finish own speech. The full mark will be 10.And each of them is judged according to the following 4 aspects: content (40%), language ability (25%), delivery skills (25%) and manners (10%).

　　现在请允许我介绍本次赛事的比赛规则。所有选手在规定的3-5分钟内，本次比赛采取10分制。内容 (40%),语言能力(25%), 表现能力 (25%) and 表现 (10%).

　　The judging panel will give scores on the spot. In this round, after each

　　contestant finish the speech, the score will be announced immediately. After all the finalists finish the speech, the scores of all the speakers will be announced.
