As you slowly open your eyes, look around, notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness in the air.
Yes, yes, yes, it s a new day, it s a different day, and it s a bright day! And most importantly, it s a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new decisions, take new actions, make new friends, and take your life to a totally unprecedented level.
In your mind s eye, you can see clearly the things you want to have, the paces you intend to go, the relationships you desire to develop, and the positions you aspire to reach.
You can hear your laughters of joy and happiness on the day when everything happens as you dream. You can see the smiles on the people around you when the magic moment strikes. You can feel your face is getting red, your heart is beating fast, and your blood is rushing all over your body, to every single corner of your being!
You know all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate and committed! And you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!
You will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways, approaching new people, and asking new questions.
You will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take.
You will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. You will never succumb to challenges of hardships.
You will never waver in your pursuit of excellence. After all, you are the best, and you deserve the best!
As your coach and friend, I can assure you the door to all the best things in the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your hand. You must do your part. You must faithfully follow the plans you make and take the actions you plan; you must never quit and you must never fear. I know you must do it, you can do it, you will do it, and you will succeed! Now stand firm and tall, make a fist, get excited, and yell it out:
I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed!
I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed!
I must do it! I can do it! I will do it! I will succeed!

saying goodbye to childhood,we step into another important time in the pace of young, facing new situations, dealing with different problems.
everyone has his ownunderstanding of young,it is a period of time of beauty and wonders, only after you have
experienced the sour ,sweet ,bitter and salty can you really become a person of significance.thre time of young is limitted,it may pass by without your attention, and when you discover what has happened ,it is always too late.grasping the young well means a better time is waiting for you in the near future,or the situation may be opposite .
having a view on these great men in the history of hunmanbeing, they all made full use of their youth time ,to do things that are useful to society,to the whole mankind, and as a cosquence ,they are remembered by later
generations, admired by everyone.so do something in the time of young, although you may not get achievements as these greatmen did ,though not for the whole word, just for youeself, for those around!
the young is just like blooming flowers, they are so beautiful when blooming, they make people feel happy, but with time passing by,after they withers ,moet people think they are ugly.and so it is the same with young,we are enthusiastic when we are young, then we may lose our passion when getting older and older.so we must treasure it ,dont let the limitted time pass by ,leaving nothing of significance.

Youth is not only a certain time of your life; also it is the shape of your mind. It is not only bright eyes, sweet smiles, nice voices, supple bodies, but also it is the way that you think and act. It is an impetus that thrills you to go further and a spring can wash the dirt away in your deep deep heart.
None of you will merely get older by the lapse of years, but easily get anile by the caducity in your mind. You can never judge a persons age only by its appearance.
I have to say its really unadvisable. Time can wrinkle your skin, loosen your teeth, but that feature doesnt mean you are old. The decline in vigor with the passing of time is the exact meaning of ageing, while not the fading faces. Similarly, youth does not only mean the red lips, rosy cheeks, it is the attitude you keep. So, it is not strange that a person with an age of 80, while we can still regard her as a lovely girl.
Youth is invisible, how can you hold it? I have seen a sentence from a Chinese article. It says that 2 things can keep your youth, one is love, the other is a beneficial book. Love makes you ignore the passing of time. An 80-year-old woman who had been married over 50 years said: I think I am still young, like a girl, I know he, my husband loves me, just like what he did 50 years before. You see, thats the magic power of love. A beneficial book is like a loyal friend who plays an important role in your life. You can talk to him anytime you want, and he will stand beside you for ever, never escape, or leave your behind alone. I hope my short speech will make you see the things clearly. Do cherish your youth, make full use of it and try to keep it.

Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen,Want to know how to feel bad about yourself? These tips are 100% effective and are guaranteed to make you feel really, really bad about yourself!
No.1 Compare yourself to everyone and everything around. Pick out things they have that you don"t;think how “lucky” they are and how “unlucky” you are.
No.2 Tell yourself over and over again things like “I am horrible”, “I am ugly”, “I am disgusting”, or “I am useless.”
Sometimes, without even really knowing it, we can actively choose to be miserable! In reality, it is more likely that you would like to invite feelings of low self-esteem into your life. Low self-esteem has been attributed as being a major obstacle to success. A recent survey conducted by the China Population Communication Centershowed that nearly half of the interviewed studentssaid that they lacked a sense of security in social interactionsand suffered from low self-esteem. Young people are the back bone to the nation. Their actions and attitudes are like a barometer of the health of a society. If our youth are courageous and have faith in themselves, they can contribute to the development of our nation and our society will be in good health. On the contrary, if they suffer from low self-esteem, our society will get sick.
I would like to share with you a true story about Nicholas James Vujicic. He was born with Tetra-amelia, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs. He struggled as a child, eventually came to terms with his disability and started his own non-profit organization Life Without Limbs C at age seventeen. He is widely known as a motivational speaker, giving talks worldwide on life with a disability, hope, and finding meaning in life.
He was bullied at school, Vujicic grew depressed and by the age of 8, contemplated suicide. At age 10, he tried to drown himself in 4 inches of water, but did not go through with it out of love for his parents. After praying to grow arms and legs, Vujicic eventually realized that his accomplishments could inspire others C and became grateful for his life. A key turning point came when his mother showed him a newspaper article about a man dealing with a severe disability. Vujicic realized he wasn"t unique in his struggles and began to embrace and transcend his disability.
This man, the soldier of life, came to my hometown 2 months ago. I got to listen to him, and talk to him, face to face. I could never forget the look in his face when he said “when I was young, I always feel cold, and dark. My first dream was to grow arms and legs, but there is no future for me at all. ” And now, 28 years has passed since he was born, 28 years without arms and legs. Nicks first dream didn"t come true, but he didn"t lose his faith of himself, and the faith of this life.
Nick is living a life without limbs, and also a life without limits. Compare to him, young people, there is no excuses to lose our faith in ourselves and this world. I understand that life couldn"t be anything we want it to be, and life couldn"t bring us everything we long for, sometimes, life even takes away our cherished ones. However, we are young; we are the hope of the whole world. Faith is right there within our reach.
Never lose faith, let us make to our life, to our future a dear promise.

many of the same things we have been discussing, comprehensive tax reform. mr. gary co. in the here has beenspearheading this charge at the white house. you can definitely pick his brain about tax reform. it is high on his mind these ring the corporate rate, encouraging business to grow, encouraging businesses based here to stay here, bring theircapital back that has been trapped overseas will have anenormously positive impact within our country and free updollars that can be reinvested. in conjunction with regulatoryreform, we have come out of the gate swinging. its a major focus. my fathers particular sensitivity to this issue is havingbeen a successful person in business himself. he understands thelimitations, whether businesses he was looking to buy or grow, dealing with suppliers and smaller businesses that services companies. he very much understands how the regulatory environment, while important has grown to a place where it is the unintended consequences is stifling entrepreneurial spirit. we are going to bring that back. we have started doing it. tax reform is going to be incredibly important for every american. we are optimistic about those things. and continued progress.
i would like to add, small businesses will say to me any tax reduction will be great. just let me know what it is. what is going to be my percentage. tell me what the rate is going to be so i can plan. without fail, every single one of those businesses tell me they will take that money and reinvest it in their business and hire more people. that will grow our economy. we will see that growth when we see tax rates go down. especially those in thellcs, all that money flows through. you know exactly how that works. we are working on it.

President Faust, members of the Harvard Corporation and the Board of Overseers, members of the faculty, proud parents, and, above all, graduates. The first thing I would like to say is ‘thank you. Not only has Harvard given me an extraordinary honour, but the weeks of fear and nausea I have endured at the thought of giving this commencement address have made me lose weight.
A win-win situation! Now all I have to do is take deep breaths, squint at the red banners and convince myself that I am at the worlds largest Gryffindor reunion. Delivering a commencement address is a great responsibility; or so I thought until I cast my mind back to my own graduation.
The commencement speaker that day was the distinguished British philosopher Baroness Mary Warnock. Reflecting on her speech has helped me enormously in writing this one, because it turns out that I cant remember a single word she said. This liberating discovery enables me to proceed without any fear that I might inadvertently influence you to abandon promising careers in business, the law or politics for the giddy delights of becoming a gay wizard.
You see? If all you remember in years to come is the ‘gay wizard joke, Ive come out ahead of Baroness Mary Warnock. Achievable goals: the first step to self improvement.

Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen:
Today Im very happy to be here to share with you some of my thoughts on the topic of Globalization. And first of all, I would like to mention an event in our recent history.
Thirty years ago, American President Richard Nixon made an epoch-making visit to China, a country still isolated at that time. Premier Zhou Enlai said to him, "Your handshake came over the vastest ocean in the world - twenty-five years of no communication." Ever since then, China and America have exchanged many handshakes of various kinds. The fundamental implication of this example is that the need and desire to communicate across differences in culture and ideology is not only felt by the two countries but by many other nations as well.
As we can see today, environmentalists from different countries are making joint efforts to address the issue of global warming, economists are seeking solutions to financial crises that rage in a particular region but nonetheless cripple the worlds economy, and diplomats and politicians are getting together to discuss the issue of combating terrorism. Peace and prosperity has become a common goal that we are striving for all over the world. Underlying this mighty trend of globalization is the echo of E. M. Forsters words, "Only connect!" With the IT revolution taking place, traditional boundaries of human society fall away. Our culture, politics, society and commerce are being sloshed into a large melting pot of humanity. In this interlinked world, there are no outsiders, for a disturbance in one place is likely to impact other parts of the globe. We have begun to realize that a world divided cannot endure.
China is now actively integrating into the world. Our recent entry to the WTO is a good example. For decades, we have taken pride in being self-reliant, but now we realize the importance of participating in and contributing to a broader economic order. From the precarious role in the world arena to our present WTO membership, we have come a long way. But what does the way ahead look like? In some parts of the world people are demonstrating against globalization. Are they justified then, in criticizing the globalizing world? Instead of narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor, they say, globalization enables developed nations to swallow the developing nations wealth in debts and interest. Globalization, they argue, should be about an earnest interest in every other nations economic health. We are reminded by Karl Marx that capital goes beyond national borders and eludes control from any other entity. This has become a reality. Multinational corporations are seeking the lowest cost, the largest market, and the most favorable policy. They are often powerful lobbyists in government decision-making, ruthless expansionists in the global market place and a devastating presence to local businesses. For China, still more challenges exist.
How are we going to ensure a smooth transition from the planned economy to a market-based one? How to construct a legal system that is sound enough and broad enough to respond to the needs of a dynamic society? How to maintain our cultural identity in an increasingly homogeneous world? And how to define greatness in our rise as a peace-loving nation? Globalization entails questions that concern us all.Like many young people my age in China, I want to see my country get prosperous and enjoying respect in the international community. But it seems to me that mere patriotism is not just enough. It is vitally important that we young people do more serious thinking and broaden our mind to bigger issues. And, there might never be easy answers to those issues such as globalization, but to take them on and give them honest thinking is the first step to be prepared for both opportunities and challenges coming our way. And this is also one of the thoughts that came to me while preparing this speech. Thank you.

As everyone knows,English is very important today. It has been used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. If we can speak English well,we will have more chance to succeed.Because more and more people have taken notice of it,the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed.
But for myself,I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness, but also because of my love for it.When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world. When I read English novels,I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation. When I speak English, I can feel the confident from my words. When I write English,I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese.
I love English,it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different contries.I can see many places of great intrests.I dream that I can go to London, because it is the birth place of English. I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people,I hope that they can love our country like us.
I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well. If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too. I am sure that I will realize my dream one day! Thank you!

Somebody says"Time is money".But I think time even more important than money.Because when money is gone,we can get it back. But when time is gone, itll never be back.
Every day we have 24 hours. We sleep,we have meals and we rest. They are necessery and will take a lot of time. Then how can we spendthe rest of the time?
Someone do the reading,do exercises and learn a lot of things. They never waste any time. They live happily and healthily.
However, someone just waste hour after hour doing nothing useful. They get up very late. They spendall day playing computer games. They hate to learn knowledges.Dont they know that they are wasting part of their own lives? So please, please save time for ourselves,Our life is limited, and remember:we have no time to lose.

Resident clinton:
Thank you, president chen, chairmen ren, vice president chi, vice minister wei.
We are delighted to be here today with a very large american delegation, including the first lady and our daughter, who is a student at stanford, one of the schools with which beijing university has a relationship.
We have six members of the united states congress; the secretary of state; secretary of commerce; the secretary of agriculture; the chairman of our council of economic advisors; senator sasser, our ambassador; the national security advisor and my chief of staff, among others.
I say that to illustrate the importance that the united states places on our relationship with china.i would like to begin by congratulating all of you, the students, the faculty, the administrators, on celebrating the centennial year of your university.gongxi, beida.(applause.)as im sure all of you know, this campus was once home to yenching university which was founded by american missionaries.many of its wonderful buildings were designed by an american architect.thousands of americans students and professors have come here to study and teach.we feel a special kinship with you.
I am, however, grateful that this day is different in one important respect from another important occasion 79 years ago.
In june of 1919, the first president of yenching university, john leighton stuart, was set to deliver the very first commencement addreon these very grounds.
At the appointed hour, he appeared, but no students appeared.
They were all out leading the may 4th movement for chinas political and cultural renewal.
When i read this, i hoped that when i walked into the auditorium today, someone would be sitting here.and i thank you for being here, very much.(applause.)over the last 100 years, this university has grown to more than 20,000 students.your graduates are spread throughout china and around the world.you have built the largest university library in all of asia.
Last year, 20 percent of your graduates went abroad to study, including half of your math and science majors.
And in this anniversary year, more than a million people in china, asia, and beyond have logged on to your web site.
At the dawn of a new century, this university is leading china into the future.i come here today to talk to you, the next generation of chinas leaders, about the critical importance to your future of building a strong partnership between china and the united states.the american people deeply admire china for its thousands of years of contributions to culture and religion, to philosophy and the arts, to science and technology.we remember well our strong partnership in world war ii.
Now we see china at a moment in history when your glorious past is matched by your present sweeping transformation and the even greater promise of your future.
Just three decades ago, china was virtually shut off from the world.now, china is a member of more than 1,000 international organizations -- enterprises that affect everything from air travel to agricultural development.you have opened your nation to trade and investment on a large scale.
Today, 40,000 young chinese study in the united states, with hundreds of thousands more learning in asia, africa, europe, and latin america.your social and economic transformation has been even more remarkable, moving from a closed command economic system to a driving, increasingly market-based and driven economy, generating two decades of unprecedented growth, giving people greater freedom to travel within and outside china, to vote in village elections, to own a home, choose a job, attend a better school.as a result you have lifted literally hundreds of millions of people from poverty.per capita income has more than doubled in the last decade.most chinese people are leading lives they could not have imagined just 20 years ago.

So many people under estimate the power and importance of a smile, that simple little facial expression characterized by an upward curving of the corners ofthe mouth. A smile has many meanings: pleasure, friendliness, welcome, amusement, and many more; and it is part of a universal body language that doesnt need any extrainter pretation.
Plus a smile, with all its simplicity and beauty, can be a very important factor in many aspects of our lives: You fall in love with a new country you visit because its people greet you with a welcoming smile everywhere you go; other countries you just dont like even though they might have more history, nature, entertainment and what not because their people dont seem so friendly or accepting.
You feel like buying from a certain store when the vendor welcomes you in with asmile, sometimes even if you wouldnt initially have bought anything; and in other stores, even though they have exactly what you need or better, you decide to walk away because the vendor doesnt look welcoming at all.
You want to give a waiter a good tip when he serves you with a smile, even if the food turns out not that good; on the other hand, sometimes youll have some of the best food ever, but you wont feel like giving the waiter a tip, even if you do, because he was grumpy. More and more examples from our everyday life show how much a simple smile can change everything. Forever engraved in my mind will be the smiling faces of the people of Thailand, the friendly pizza delivery boy, the welcoming supermarket vendor, the nice cashier at the bank, … etc.
It is these smiles that keep me wanting to go back, and that keep us all wanting to go back; looking at it from another view, if we break it down using business sense, a smile is one of the most effective means to generate sales and develop customer loyalty. On top of all that, a smile is a very simple and easy thing to do, so it amazes why no one bothers to do it, it not only makes the person in front of you better, but it also makes you feel better as well, and Im not making this up,it has been psychologically proven. Personally, Id like to see more smiling faces in this world; in the airports when I enter a new country, in companies, government agencies, restaurants, hotels, banks, everywhere; and I think it is up to governments to campaign about this, and even make it obligatory in certain important places like airports, hospitals, hotels … etc.
Letsall simply smile.
