　　One Sunday my mother had me take my little young brother to the a trip tothe country. She bade me take good care of him.

　　While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and thebreeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile at us and heardthe birds sing their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed verypretty .When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother wait for us at thedoor.

　　As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and manyother useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds andstrengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wisefriends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read morebooks.

　　Reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice ofbooks. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, badbooks will do us more harm than good.

　　Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself toit.

　　Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to mycountry.

　　I get up at six o’clock every day.

　　After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I goto school at seven o’clock.

　　After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seveno’clock.Then I begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go tobed.

　　今天英语课上，老师下在教我们新单词。

　　老师读了一个单词：“tooth”。我们也跟着读：“tooth”。读完后，我看见同桌杨锦辉好像在英语书上写字，我以为他是在写“tooth”的中文，就没有在意，而且老师已经在教我们读下一个单词了，我根本没有时间看杨锦辉在写什么。我们每读一个词，他就在书上写着什么，我提醒他：“你不会下课写吗，要被老师发现了。”他连忙用手盖住英语书不让我看，我很疑惑，决定下课看他在写什么。

　　“叮铃铃”下课了，杨锦辉第一个冲出了教室，我偷偷地看了他的书，一看，我才明白，原来他在给英语找汉字朋友“tooth”吐S，“earache”YI儿哎，“backache”白K哎，“headache”嗨dei……而且还注上了音调，让我笑得都要哭了。

　　英语变成汉字真有趣！

　　Do you mind being called a bad student? Of course not. So far as I know,everybody intends to be (become) a model student.

　　However, to be a model student is by no means an easy thing. First, he mustdo his best to obtain knowledge. A man without sufficient knowledge will notsucceed. Secondly, he must remember to improve his health. Only a strong man cando great tasks. Thirdly, he should receive moral education. If his conduct isnot good, no one will consider making friends with him.

　　Secondly, happiness consists in contentment. A man who is dissatisfied withhis present condition is always in distress.

　　Last night ,I dreamed I became a very beautiful brid.I dreamed that I wasin a forest. In tht forest,there were a lot of animals.Then,an old bird toldus,"we have a very beautiful forest,we should therefore protect it frompollution."All the animals agreed with him.

　　But the second day,people came into our forest.Many animals were caught.Thepeople wanted to build house and parks in our forest.Many old trees werefelled.And then suddenly,nothing was left standing.
