If you ask me what is the most precious I would say that it’s time.Time is something once lost you could never have again. Therefore we should cherish it and spend it in meaningful things. However many people do too many meaningless things to kill their time such as playing computer watching TV or gossiping. When you do these things the time has long been unwittingly flowed away.In my opinion the best way to make full use of time is planning your time rationally and sticking the plan firmly.
There was just so much to learn about when we were children. We must learn how to speak the language of our country. Counting and using numbers must be mastered. Most important we must start to understand what is right anti what is wrong.
As young students we must keep learning many new things. At sehool we must learn languages history geography physics chemistry and mathematics and acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to be a good worker.
Even when we reach oId age learning remains importanl to us.Retircd peoplewhose children are all grown up need to keep busy.Reading new things and discovering new hobbies give many senior citizens a new purpose to their lives and keep them active and happy.
Spending more time on something significant not only will make your life fulfilling but also will give you a sense of accomplishment.Instead killing your time with meaningless things would bring you depression even despair.

As is known to us all, the most precious thing in the world is nothing but “today”. Therefore, it is necessary and significant for us to manage our time efficiently. There are some suggestions and methods to manage our time.
First, the most important thing is to know and understand how we have spent and managed our time before. Only in this way can we know in which we have wasted our time. We can do this by sorting out all things we do every day and then select the necessary thing and the wasted time.
Second, after the first step, what we should do is choosing the correct time. As the saying goes, “to choose time is to save time”. For one thing, we have to know and understand that which period we have more efficiency and have better quality in work or study so that we know how to make our schedule. For another, it is better to do the most important and urgent thing first in that we
barely have enough time to finish all task within a day.
Last but not the least, it is valuable to take full advantage of our leisure time tiny pieces of time. For example, we can do some reading when we are waiting for a bus, or we can practice our listening on our way to school.
To sum up, time, like water in sponge, can be squeezed out if we like. Therefore, take full use of our time in that it is essential to lead a full and happy life.
Now, everyone is advocated to save, in addition to material things, there is time, also need to save.
In fact, one minute can do a lot of things, in a book, I see you can write more than 20 words a minute, can walk one hundred steps, we can see 1-2 pages. After watching, I couldn't help wonder: if do it for an hour, you can write more than one thousand words, walk thousands of step road, like dozens of pages, original, as long as make full use of their time, still can do a lot of things in a day!
Back when I was a child, every time I write a summer and winter vacation homework is in the last days of summer and winter vacation last half a month. Why is that? Because I had too much homework? Or because of me what is causing the delay time? Neither. Is because I was not good to save time, don't have to arrange their own time, I always play in the first place, only a little homework every day, until the final assault began. Because of this, my second grade every summer and winter vacation had bad, is a holiday with regret.
You can think about it, how many people regret for wasted time, and how many people because there is no cherish their own time, and missed a lot of things. "If then arrange their own time!" , "if could save time" at that time some people will say so. But, time is not flow back, and so sorry, as now, starts from me, to save time!
hello, dear teachers and fellow students. it is my honor to be here on this beautiful friday morning to share with you my view on “me- time”. in my opinion, finding me-time is important. with the development of the modern society, we students in china have more and more pressure. we have to spare every minute to study very hard and join various kinds of out-of-class training courses to improve ourselves. so we are really in lack of me-time which is helpful to keep ourselves from being over-stressed、tired and worried.
i do not have as much fun as before and i always miss my childhood. three hours of homework and two piano lessons one day make me have hardly any me-time to relax myself. i was once an active basketball player on my school team. but now, basketball, my best friend, i haven’t touched it for almost two months. me- time seems to have become a luxury.
last week, when i heard there was going to be a basketball match between our school and no 1 middle school, i was so excited that i rushed home and told my parents the news. i asked my father, “ dad, may i play basketball after school ? the coach says i am the best guard in our school. if i join the school basketball team, we are sure to beat no 1 middle school this time.” my father showed his dispproval and said, “ of course you can’t . i’m disappointed at you. why do you have such a silly idea? don’t forget to work hard on your schoolwork and piano lessons.” in my parents’ points of view, playing basketball is a waste of time
as far as i’m concerned, the school assignment to the junior school students is too heavy. to grow into healthy and well-rounded adults, we should be allowed to have more me-time for relaxation. the pressure put on our students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally.
my dear teachers, i hope you can assign less homework so we students can enjoy a period of me-time. my dear parents, would you please not follow me and remind me of study all the time? please trust me that i will do my best. my dear friends, why not stop for a while from your heavy homework and do anything you like? it’s me-time. i do think, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to us students and to the society as a whole. finding me-time will make our life rich, colorful and rewardingthank you for your attention
finding me time is important
hello, my dear friends, it is my great honor to be here and give a speech. today i want to talk about the importance of finding *me time
may i begin my speech by asking you a question? do you often feel tired, stressed or worried? if you do have these problems, you are lack of me-time to relax yourself. psychologist tell us that stress is caused by too much work or study , heavy responsibilities , and quickened pace of life . in my point of view, if you want to have a healthy mind and body, having your own me-time is very important
let me take myself as an example. i was a carefree and outgoing girl before i entered the junior high school. i had much me-time and did anything i like after class. i kept a lovely pet and whenever i have time i played with her happily. however, the situation is quite different now. when i want to turn on the tv、surf on the internet or go out shopping with my friends, my parents always look at me seriously and say “ don’t forget to spend more time on your lessons. if you don’t cherish every minute of your time, other students will catch up with you.”
so, every day, every moment, i am overwhelmed by all kinds of assignments. i become more and more silent and can’t sleep well before the exams because i’m dressed and worried about my results. i feel so tired and how i want to have me time to relax myself. i long for a period of time that i could walk in a small path in the countryside, sing my favourite song and smell the essence of nature
my dear friends, having your own me-time is important. i firmly believe that achievements depend on our health. if we want to have a more harmonious state to work better, we should find more *me time* and keep off the overwhelm stresses. talks, jokes, games, fresh air or beautiful scenes will be helpful for you. trust me, you’ll be more refreshable and energetic.
thank you for your attention.

Lu Xun said: "time is like a sponge in the water as long as you like crowded there are some. "So we should manage your time well most efficient thing to do. For example on the bus during the meal to eat in the morning time to review the contents of yesterday. "Noon and as fast as possible to eat time to look at some of the textbooks. Evening meal should be eaten on the desk because the time on the desk are more important than time on the table. Managing your time is important.

my brother-in-law opened the bottom drawer of my sisters bureau and lifted out a tissue-wrapped package. this, he said, is not a slip. this is lingerie. he discarded the tissue and handed me the slip.
it was exquisite, silk, handmade and trimmed with a cobweb of lace. the price tag with an astronomical figure on it was still attached.
jan bought this the first time we went to new york, at least 8 or 9 years ago. she never wore it. she was saving it for a special occasion.
well, i guess this is the occasion.
he took the slip from me and put it on the bed, with the other clothes we were taking to the mortician. his hands lingered on the soft material for a moment, then he slammed the drawer shut and turned to me, dont ever save anything for a special occasion. every day you re alive is a special occasion.
i remembered those words through the funeral and the days that followed when i helped him and my niece attend to all the sad chores that follow an unexpected death. i thought about them on the plane returning to california from the midwestern town where my sisters family lives. i thought about all the things that she hadnt seen or heard or done. i thought about the things that she had done without realizing that they were special.

i think she would have called family members and a few close friends. she might have called a few former friends to apologize, and mend fences for past squabbles. i like to think she would have gone out for a chinese dinner, her favorite food. im guessing. ill never know.
its those little things left undone that would make me angry if i knew that my hours were limited. angry because i put off seeing good friends whom i was going to get in touch with someday. angry because i hadnt written certain letters that i intended to write one of these days. angry and sorry that i didnt tell my husband and daughter often enough how much i truly love them.
im trying very hard not to put off, hold back, or save anything that would add laughter and luster to our lives. and every morning when i open my eyes, i tell myself that every day, every minute, every breath truly, is... a gift from god.

How to Save Time
We have ever heard of “Time is money. Time is life.” Time is very importantto everyone. But we can see people waste their time everywhere. They spend muchtime playing computer games, drinking, sleeping late in the morning and so on.It’s necessary for us to save our valuable time. We have to listen to ourteachers carefully in class so that we can save more time to learn others afterclass. We should make a plan to study at home so that we can learn more withless time. If we can make good use of time, we are sure to get more.
When people find out I write about time management, they assume two things. One is that I'm always on time, and I'm not. I have four small children, and I would like to blame them for my occasional tardiness, but sometimes it's just not their fault. I was once late to my own speech on time management.
We all had to just take a moment together and savor that irony.
The second thing they assume is that I have lots of tips and tricks for saving bits of time here and there.Sometimes I'll hear from magazines that are doing a story along these lines, generally on how to help their readers find an extra hour in the day. And the idea is that we'll shave bits of time off everyday activities, add it up, and we'll have time for the good stuff.
I question the entire premise of this piece, but I'm always interested in hearing what they've come up with before they call me. Some of my favorites:doing errands where you only have to make right-hand turns.
我对这个说法持保留意见,不过我还是愿意听听他们在找我之前有什么想法。我最喜欢的几个是:只完成那些只需要右转的事;
Being extremely judicious in microwave usage: it says three to three-and-a-half minutes on the package, we're totally getting in on the bottom side of that. And my personal favorite, which makes sense on some level, is to DVR your favorite shows so you can fast-forward through the commercials.
That way, you save eight minutes every half hour, so in the course of two hours of watching TV, you find 32 minutes to exercise.
Which is true. You know another way to find 32 minutes to exercise? Don't watch two hours of TV a day, right?
Anyway, the idea is we'll save bits of time here and there, add it up, we will finally get to everything we want to do. But after studying how successful people spend their time and looking at their schedules hour by hour, I think this idea has it completely backward.
We don't build the lives we want by saving time. We build the lives we want, and then time saves itself.
Here's what I mean. I recently did a time diary project looking at 1,001 days in the lives of extremely busy women. They had demanding jobs, sometimes their own businesses, kids to care for, maybe parents to care for, community commitments -- busy, busy people.
I had them keep track of their time for a week so I could add up how much they worked and slept, and I interviewed them about their strategies, for my book.
One of the women whose time log I studied goes out on a Wednesday night for something. She comes home to find that her water heater has broken, and there is now water all over her basement. If you've ever had anything like this happen to you, you know it is a hugely damaging, frightening, sopping mess.
So she's dealing with the immediate aftermath that night, next day she's got plumbers coming in, day after that, professional cleaning crew dealing with the ruined carpet. All this is being recorded on her time log. Winds up taking seven hours of her week. Seven hours. That's like finding an extra hour in the day.
But I'm sure if you had asked her at the start of the week, "Could you find seven hours to train for a triathlon?" "Could you find seven hours to mentor seven worthy people?" I'm sure she would've said what most of us would've said, which is, "No -- can't you see how busy I am?" Yet when she had to find seven hours because there is water all over her basement, she found seven hours.
And what this shows us is that time is highly elastic. We cannot make more time, but time will stretch to accommodate what we choose to put into it.
And so the key to time management is treating our priorities as the equivalent of that broken water heater. To get at this, I like to use language from one of the busiest people I ever interviewed. By busy, I mean she was running a small business with 12 people on the payroll, she had six children in her spare time.
I was getting in touch with her to set up an interview on how she "had it all" -- that phrase. I remember it was a Thursday morning, and she was not available to speak with me. Of course, right?
But the reason she was unavailable to speak with me is that she was out for a hike, because it was a beautiful spring morning, and she wanted to go for a hike. So of course this makes me even more intrigued, and when I finally do catch up with her, she explains it like this. She says, "Listen Laura, everything I do, every minute I spend, is my choice."
And rather than say, "I don't have time to do x, y or z," she'd say, "I don't do x, y or z because it's not a priority." "I don't have time," often means "It's not a priority."
If you think about it, that's really more accurate language. I could tell you I don't have time to dust my blinds, but that's not true. If you offered to pay me $100,000 to dust my blinds, I would get to it pretty quickly.
Since that is not going to happen, I can acknowledge this is not a matter of lacking time; it's that I don't want to do it. Using this language reminds us that time is a choice. And granted, there may be horrible consequences for making different choices, I will give you that.
But we are smart people, and certainly over the long run, we have the power to fill our lives with the things that deserve to be there.
So how do we do that? How do we treat our priorities as the equivalent of that broken water heater?
Well, first we need to figure out what they are. I want to give you two strategies for thinking about this. The first, on the professional side: I'm sure many people coming up to the end of the year are giving or getting annual performance reviews. You look back over your successes over the year, your "opportunities for growth." And this serves its purpose, but I find it's more effective to do this looking forward.
So I want you to pretend it's the end of next year. You're giving yourself a performance review, and it has been an absolutely amazing year for you professionally. What three to five things did you do that made it so amazing? So you can write next year's performance review now.
And you can do this for your personal life, too. I'm sure many of you, like me, come December, get cards that contain these folded up sheets of colored paper, on which is written what is known as the family holiday letter.
Bit of a wretched genre of literature, really, going on about how amazing everyone in the household is,or even more scintillating, how busy everyone in the household is. But these letters serve a purpose, which is that they tell your friends and family what you did in your personal life that mattered to you over the year.
So this year's kind of done, but I want you to pretend it's the end of next year, and it has been an absolutely amazing year for you and the people you care about. What three to five things did you do that made it so amazing? So you can write next year's family holiday letter now. Don't send it.
Please, don't send it. But you can write it. And now, between the performance review and the family holiday letter, we have a list of six to ten goals we can work on in the next year.
And now we need to break these down into doable steps. So maybe you want to write a family history.First, you can read some other family histories, get a sense for the style. Then maybe think about the questions you want to ask your relatives, set up appointments to interview them. Or maybe you want to run a 5K. So you need to find a race and sign up, figure out a training plan, and dig those shoes out of the back of the closet.
And then -- this is key -- we treat our priorities as the equivalent of that broken water heater, by putting them into our schedules first. We do this by thinking through our weeks before we are in them.
I find a really good time to do this is Friday afternoons. Friday afternoon is what an economist might calla "low opportunity cost" time. Most of us are not sitting there on Friday afternoons saying, "I am excited to make progress toward my personal and professional priorities right now."
But we are willing to think about what those should be. So take a little bit of time Friday afternoon, make yourself a three-category priority list: career, relationships, self. Making a three-category list reminds usthat there should be something in all three categories.
Career, we think about; relationships, self -- not so much. But anyway, just a short list, two to three items in each. Then look out over the whole of the next week, and see where you can plan them in.
Where you plan them in is up to you. I know this is going to be more complicated for some people than others. I mean, some people's lives are just harder than others. It is not going to be easy to find time to take that poetry class if you are caring for multiple children on your own. I get that. And I don't want to minimize anyone's struggle. But I do think that the numbers I am about to tell you are empowering.
There are 168 hours in a week. Twenty-four times seven is 168 hours. That is a lot of time. If you are working a full-time job, so 40 hours a week, sleeping eight hours a night, so 56 hours a week -- that leaves 72 hours for other things. That is a lot of time.
You say you're working 50 hours a week, maybe a main job and a side hustle. Well, that leaves 62 hours for other things. You say you're working 60 hours. Well, that leaves 52 hours for other things. You say you're working more than 60 hours. Well, are you sure?
There was once a study comparing people's estimated work weeks with time diaries. They found that people claiming 75-plus-hour work weeks were off by about 25 hours.
You can guess in which direction, right? Anyway, in 168 hours a week, I think we can find time for what matters to you.
If you want to spend more time with your kids, you want to study more for a test you're taking, you want to exercise for three hours and volunteer for two, you can. And that's even if you're working way more than full-time hours.
So we have plenty of time, which is great, because guess what? We don't even need that much time to do amazing things. But when most of us have bits of time, what do we do? Pull out the phone, right?Start deleting emails. Otherwise, we're puttering around the house or watching TV.
But small moments can have great power. You can use your bits of time for bits of joy. Maybe it's choosing to read something wonderful on the bus on the way to work.
I know when I had a job that required two bus rides and a subway ride every morning, I used to go to the library on weekends to get stuff to read. It made the whole experience almost, almost, enjoyable. Breaks at work can be used for meditating or praying. If family dinner is out because of your crazy work schedule, maybe family breakfast could be a good substitute.
It's about looking at the whole of one's time and seeing where the good stuff can go. I truly believe this. There is time. Even if we are busy, we have time for what matters. And when we focus on what matters, we can build the lives we want in the time we've got.
Thank you.

Today, I had a rich and meaningful day. My mother opened a bakery. She wasvery kind-hearted. She promised the children in the orphanage to bake for themtoday. My mother asked me to help. When we baked all the bread, we brought allof them to the orphanage. This was the first time I went to orphanage. I thoughtI couldn’t forget the smile on the children’s face when they saw us. They wereas happy as birds. They accepted the bread just as a gift from the heaven.Compared with them, I felt that I was so happy. Thanks to my parents that I canhave such happy life. I loved them. I will treasure more my life in thefuture.

We live in a busy society. We may have demanding jobs, children, familiesand many other "important" things that hoover up all of our time, and before weknow it, Christmas is looming once more and we're muttering about another yearjust passing us by.
How many times do you say, "I'll read that book later when I have moretime" or "I'll finish listening to that audio program when I have more time" orsomething very similar?
You may want to create the life of your dreams, but it just seems so verydifficult with so many other things that just have to be dealt with. You may nothave the time to spend an hour a day meditating and an hour a day working onyour personal development and an hour a day working on your business. In fact, for some of us, we're lucky if we can even find time to sleep!
However, the key is not the spend time "doing" personal development work, but to just do it!

as the taxi came to a screeching halt at a traffic light,i asked thedriver,"do you agree that 'time is money'?" "well,it's a very common saying.whowill care so much about that?"the driver answered . "
look, the digits in the meter are still running when the car has stopped,"ipointed at the meter. "oh.yes.you've got a point here,in this case, time is moneyfor both of us,"added the driver.
For thousands of years, animals have trodden a slow path, their spirits together with the body. But our human being's transportation is too fast. The body moves but the soul is left behind. We try to free ourselves in convenience,
but we only imprison the soul. Since we invented how to count hours, we do everything to short the time, short the deadline. But the time saved can't be shorten. Nowadays, we spend lots of time staying in front of a TV just changing the channels, while we have no time to talk with a good friend or play with our family. We have plenty of time to search old news on the internet, while we hardly think about our life. In the end, the only thing apparent is our loneliness.
Take your time, please. Try to follow the natural steps and have your own clock. Try to share your time with everybody you love, share your mind, your happiness and sadness. Try to read the world we live in, do not only catch a quick glimpse at the society.
Someday, when we know how to spend every second in our life, we can then live our own life.

maybe you always ask "how can i get more and more time?" now, i can tellyou a story.once upon a time, there were many people in a village which named"gold time". and there was an old man in the village.villagers called him "timeman". because he could "move"time to a lot of places.
sometimes he "moved" it to the top of the desk. sometimes he "moved" it tothe playground. there were many people on the playground. some did exercises.some played football. and he "moved" it to people's home. they were having abirthday party. and the other people were cooking.in spite of this, many peoplestill said,"i haven't got enough time! time man, give me enough time!" time manwas very
angry. he couldn't bear it. then, he killed himself. it was 12:00 p.m. sonow we have 24 hours a day.if you think time is not enough. you must hurry up todo every thing quickly. and don't waste time. if you can do every thing well, ithink you must be best.do you know? mr. lu said, "we only can get 24 hours oneday. it brings somebody gold. and it also gives somebody lazy and unhappy.i onlywant tell you,"don't waste time."

I always think there is not enough time. For example,I have just taken athree-day holiday. But when I look back,I just feel that it‘s only one day. There goes a proverb,“Time is money”。 Now I want to say, time is more preciousthan money, because when money is spent,we can earn some more again. However, when time is gone or lost, never will it return.
Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usuallylimited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it‘s a pity that I amalways not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.
So I think,I should get into the good habit of saving time because wastingtime is equal to wasting one‘s life. Do not put off what can be done today tilltomorrow!
