　　昨天晚上，我帮妈妈蒸馒头。过了一会儿，爸爸问我：你放了多少水呀?水?噢，天哪!我忘了放了!我回答说。什么?你忘了?!爸爸惊叫一声跑进厨房，关掉煤气，迅速将那口快烧焦的锅放进水里冷却。幸好没有发生危险。如果我来迟一步，就会发生火灾了。爸爸说。而我呆呆地站在那里，吓得一句话也说不出。

　　Last night, I helped my mother steam buns. After a moment, father asked me, How much water did you put in the pot? Water? Oh, my! I forgot the water! I answered. What? You forgot?! Father screamed into the kitchen, turned off the gas, and hurriedly put the nearly burnt pot into water to cool down. Thank God that nothing happened.
