　　There are always a lot of festivals in a year, no matter which country or state you live in. In China, Chinese people celebrate Chinese New Year as a tradition. In the same way, American people really value Christmas. I have lived in China for a long time, but my favorite festival is still Christmas.

　　I like Christmas not only because Santa Claus gives us presents. What I like is the streets and avenues full of people, neon lights and Christmas trees. You can smell the scent of frosted Christmas cookies and pastries from the bakeries doing Christmas treat sale. Everyone in the streets is very friendly, saying “Merry Christmas” even to strangers.
