　　过新年了，爸爸说:你又长了一岁，应该自己睡觉了。我有一点害怕，吓得浑身哆嗦。爸爸看见我浑身哆嗦说：“你真是个胆小鬼。”于是，我决定非要自己一个人睡不可。

　　It's new year's day, dad said: you are one year old again, you should go to bed by yourself. I was a little scared and shivered. My father saw me shivering and said, "you are such a coward." So I decided to sleep alone.

　　我回到了自己的房间，马上从玩具箱里找了一个小圣诞老人，挂在墙上，让它守护我。可我还是不放心，就从书架上拿了一本超级厚的字典，放在了床边，如果有坏人出现，我就可以拿它当武器。然后我就关灯，上床睡觉了。

　　I lay on the bed and looked around. The room was dark, and the walls seemed to squeeze against me. I heard the sound of "crackling" outside the window. I felt like a ghost coming. The bleak voice came into my ears. I was pale with fear. I immediately covered my face with a quilt, like a timid snail, shrank in the shell, even afraid to expose my head.
