It has the largest irrigated area of the fanaland in the world and grows more than a third of rice and other crops of the world. Fish farming is also important, so fresh-water fish can be produced wherever you hive. Vegetable waste is used to feed pigs and chickens in the country. Gas also is produced by human and animal waste there, and it is used to heating and cooking. Using waste can make the environment around us cleaner and cleaner.

  Many countries will experience aging populations in the next century because of declining birth and mortality rates. China will soon join their ranks. According to statistics, the aging of Chinas population will approach its peak by the middle of the next century,with the percentage of the people aged beyond 60 making up 27.4 percent of the total. That means one out of every four people will be elderly.

  As for the issue of aging, its situation has been growing increasingly severe in spite of the fact most people are still ignorant of the problems it brings about. Firstly, with families becoming smaller and living , it is even graver for families to care for aged members adequately. Secondly, aging causes a relative decline in working force in that fewer people have to support the increasing aged people. Consequently, the productivity of the whole society is affected to some extent. Thirdly and most importantly,the aging of population in China resulted from the successful implementation of family planning has not been synchronized with national economic progress.

  riding a bicycle has a lot of advantages over driving a car. first, it is a physical eercise to ride a bicycle. in contrast, sitting in the car, one tends to gain weight. besides, it is nmch more economical to ride a bike than drive a car. on the one hand,the only fee a bike-rider has to pay is the annual ta. however, the annual fees for a car are costly. on the other hand, a bike neednt be equipped with a parking lot, but a car must. most important of all, it is beneficial to the environment to ride a bicycle because the bike doesnt consume petrol; it is a pollution-free transport. in contrast, the ehaust released by the car is harmful to the environment.

  since China is a developing country with a large population, bicycles will still be the most popular means of transport in China for quite a long time. most people will still ride bicycles to go to work or to school. the emperor country of bicycles will remain for at least dozens of years.
