今天，我到外婆家去玩。刚进门，只见外婆拿着一张报纸目不转睛地看着。我跑过去一看，原来外婆在“研究”一个英语单词，嘴里还念叨着：“M，O，O，N。”
外婆看到我，招了招手说：“乖孙，过来！这字母是啥意思，咋念？”我在旁边看着，笑着说：“这是单词，不是字母。”外婆恍然大悟地说：“对，对，叫单词。那是啥意思？”我卖了个关子，说：“天上的东西。”外婆说：“月亮？”我说：“OK！”外婆又问：“‘OK’，我知道是啥意思。是‘好的’，对吗？”我说：“要不我教您学英语吧！”外婆说：“好呀，省得看报纸时，突然出现个英语单词我看不懂。”
外婆说：“开始上课吧！”“好的。”我说，“现在呀，英语就像自行车，人手一辆……”“赶快进入正题！”我刚开始讲课，外婆就急着说。我说：“我这不是在抛砖引玉吗？好，英语有26个字母，您知道吗？”外婆说：“不知道，但我知道俄语有33个字母。”我说：“英语是26个字母，不是俄语，请不要走题。”外婆说：“Yes，Madam！”“‘Madam’是女士，我是先生。”我连忙纠正了外婆的“问好”，“‘Yes，Madam’是‘是的，女士’，‘Sir’才是‘先生’的'意思。您该说‘Yes，Sir’！”外婆沮丧地说：“我还以为你会夸我有英语基础呢！”“再学一个单词，good，G—O—O—D，‘好’。”我说。外婆跟读：“狗的，鸡—哦—哦—得，狗的，好。”我说：“是‘姑的’，good。”外婆：“哦，是‘姑的’，good。”“对了，好！”我表扬道。
今天，我虽然只教了外婆一个单词、一个句子，但是我很快乐，因为我过了一把老师瘾。

放学回家，我看到奶奶戴着一幅厚厚的老花镜，戴着一对耳机，嘴里念念有词：“A，B，C，D……。”
我放下书包，悄悄地走过去，看见录音机在播放着呢！天哪，奶奶怎么学起英语来了，前两天她还说我在学“鸟语”，怎么现在奶奶学起“鸟语”来了。
我做完作业，要听录音了，我走过去对奶奶说：“奶奶，我要听录音了！”奶奶也许听得太认真了，并没有察觉我在她身边。我大声喊：“奶奶”。这才回过头来，说：“这玩意挺好玩的，你给我买一个吧。”我听了，差点晕过去。奶奶又发话了：“孙女，banana是香蕉的英文，是吗？再借我听听呗。”我唉声叹气，真是哑巴吃黄莲——有苦说不出，只好耐心等待。
吃晚饭了，奶奶还在听录音，听出味道来了，“孙女，苹果是‘啊砰！A，P，P，啊哦，E，啊砰’！”我听了，立刻捧着肚子大笑起来，可奶奶完全不知道是怎么一回事，以为自己读得不错，还高兴地笑哩！
晚饭过后，奶奶以火箭般地速度冲向录音机旁，嘴里冒着一长串的'“泡泡。”我尴尬死了，录音机被霸占了。现在又不能听了，只好等到奶奶走了后再听。
我等啊等，奶奶走的时刻终于等到了，“临走”前还对我说：“哎，人老了学什么都难。你可得好好抓紧时间，多学些知识和本领，不要像我这样，等头发白了才后悔莫及！”
她成了我学习的榜样，我也要对自己有信心。敢于设计自己的目标，朝着这个目标奋力前进，加油吧！

Surprisingly enough, Chinese herbs also include such strange things as insects, deer horn, tiger bones, cicada shells, frogs, and toads. Liquid concoctions usually thick,brownish or black, and.often taste bitter.
A proverb says "Efficacious remedies are i bitter in the mouth but beneficial to the body," and I think Chinese herbs bear the best proof.
