　　一天下午，小明和小红两人，正高高兴兴地走在放学的路上。

　　One afternoon, Xiao Ming and Xiao Hong were walking happily on their way to school.

　　走着走着，两个小玩伴儿突然发现前方不远处，有一大堆黑乎乎的东西。好奇心强的小明摸着脑瓜儿，问道：“那是啥呀？堆在那儿多难看呀！”“走，我们去看看吧！”小红干脆地说。跑过去一看原来是一个垃圾箱，旁边积满了垃圾。小红惊奇地问：“这是怎么回事，垃圾怎么都跑出来了？”“肯定是人们随手一扔，懒得再往前走一步把垃圾扔到垃圾箱。让我们来把它清理干净吧！”小明不假思索的答道。小红盯着那一堆垃圾，说：“好！”他俩说干就干。小红用手把垃圾弄到垃圾箱里，她说：“小明，你怎么不干呀，在一旁发什么呆呀？”小明在一旁想：干这些还不够，我要让人们知道乱扔垃圾是不文明的'。小明立刻从书包里拿出纸和毛笔，在纸上写了“只差一步文明”。然后拿来胶水把纸贴在了垃圾箱上。小红看到了，伸出大拇指直夸他聪明。

　　小明说：“嗯这个办法有没有用呢？”小红说：“那我们躲到对面的树丛里，看看效果吧！”小明利索地回答：“OK！”他们躲到了树丛里，目不转睛地盯着垃圾桶。不一会儿，就有一位大叔走了过来。他观察了四周无人，正准备随手一丢，可是看到了小明的标语后，便自觉地把垃圾扔进了垃圾箱。
